Newport Green is the community’s signature waterfront park that stretches across more than four beautifully landscaped acres designed by Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects. The park features the only sandy urban beach on the Hudson River and other fun amenities including a well-maintained oval turf playing field, open lawns, outdoor Ping-Pong tables, botanical garden paths, playgrounds, a fountain plaza, carousel, bench seating, free Wi-Fi, and more.
Newport Green also hosts fun community events exclusively for residents, including outdoor movie screenings on warm summer nights, live concerts, running races, beach parties, Shakespeare in the park, and a Christmas tree lighting.
