Though we can’t sip a margarita outside or share dinner at our favorite restaurant just yet, showing our support for local restaurants and establishments is important for ensuring they’ll come back better than ever. Ordering takeout and delivery or buying a gift card for future use are great ways to help these places stay afloat right now. Read ahead for a list of fabulous local businesses that are open and ready to serve you! 

Babo Teahouse: 

Jersey City favorite Babo Teahouse is an Asian cafe offering a variety of bubble teas and tasty food options. You can arrange food pickup via their website from 12-8pm or delivery is available through UberEats.

Chef Tan:

Looking for delicious Chinese food? Chef Tan is open from 11am-9pm for delivery only. Call (201) 987-7070 to place your order. Delivery is also available through Seamless or Grubhub. 

Komegashi Too:

If you’re craving sushi or sashimi, Komegashi Too offers authentic Japanese cuisine. Open from 12-8pm for pickup and delivery. Call (201) 533-8888 or order via Seamless or Grubhub. 

Menya:

Menya serves up piping hot bowls of authentic Japanese ramen. Open 11:30am-7:30pm for pickup or delivery. Call (201) 588-1575 to order. Delivery is also available through UberEats.  

Cosi:

Reliable lunchtime staple Cosi--offering soups, sandwiches, and more-- is open Monday-Friday 6am-7pm and Saturday & Sunday 7:30am-4pm. Arrange pickup or delivery here or download their app to place an order. Catering orders are available online or by calling (866) 580-2674.

Loradella’s Family Pizzeria: 

For a slice of pizza or maybe a couple of pies for the family, try Loradella’s Family Pizzeria. They’re open 11am-7pm for pickup and delivery. Order through the restaurant at (201) 963-4900 or online through Grubhub, Seamless, Slicelife, Doordash, and delivery.com.    

Ruth’s Chris:

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse is the classic spot for that perfect steak dinner. Call (201) 448-8664 for takeout or order delivery through Grubhub. Gift cards are also available--and now through Sunday, April 5, if you purchase an eGift card of $100 or more you earn a 25% bonus card to use on a future visit.

For Grocery Shopping:

Morton Williams Supermarket in Jersey City is open from 7am to midnight. Home delivery can be arranged in store and online, and gift cards are also available. They are asking that customers please prioritize 7am-8am for senior citizens, immunocompromised, and similarly disabled shoppers. 

VIBGYOR Creations Art Studio: 

If the little ones are feeling restless, Vibgyor Creations Art Studio is providing online art classes for children. You can contact them directly to arrange lessons. Art kits are available for pickup from the studio once online classes have been arranged.
