The fastest course around, the Newport Liberty Half Marathon's USATF-certified course takes runners along the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway and across to Liberty State Park, showcasing views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, and the stunning Manhattan skyline.
Over 3,000 runners participated in the inspiring 2018 Ruth’s Chris Newport Half Marathon on Sunday, September 16th, 2018 - with New Jersey-based runners dominating the race! On the men’s side, Kyle Price of New Brunswick, NJ, finished first with a time of 1:12:53. Meanwhile, on the women’s side, Brianna Feerst of Brick, NJ, came in first with a time of 1:25:00. Scott Savage was the top-performing Jersey City-based runner with a time of 1:21:12.89. You can check out the full race results here!
