The Thirteenth Annual Newport Beach Party is back and better than ever.  This year, we have an extra special treat for you – Newport is proud to present a live FREE concert with soul man Lee Fields & the Expressions. Residents and guests are invited to purchase dinner and picnic on the urban beach, overlooking the NYC skyline, while enjoying the sounds of Mr. Fields’ raucous-yet-tender voice. Get there early for a magical summer night at Newport.

Newport restaurants will have their outdoor food stands set up by 5pm; the concert will begin at 6:30pm.

Lee Fields is a North Carolina native who has amassed a prolific catalog of albums and has toured and played with legends such as, Kool and the Gang, Sammy Gordon and the Hip-Huggers and Little Royal.  With a career spanning 43 years, releases on twelve different record labels, and having toured the world over with his rauccous-yet-tender voice, it's mind-blowing that the music he's making today with Brooklyn's own Truth & Soul Records is the best of his career.
